I'm thinking of doing a little planted tank for my cherry shimps and I was just wondering is it possible to have dwarf puffers with them?

Lol now now girls. I guess I think it will be trial and error sort of thing my local pet shop are cool if the dwarfs start munching my cherrys I will be able to take them back

If they are tolerating them then it means they haven't gotten hungry enough to eat them yet. You can't expect a predator to live with its prey and not eat it, that's far from 50/50. Unfortunately, they aren't compatible. It might be possible with a larger shrimp, but they could get terrorized also.
