Besides rams are there any other cichlids that can get along in community tanks? I always thought the answer was generally no but it seems like a lot of people do this, are they just lucky?

I wouldn't try anything other than angels or rams.

There are dozens of genus's with hundreds of cichlids that work very well in a community setting.

Apistos usually work well in community tanks I've heard.
