Problem Solved
It turns out that one of my Heaters had gone "weird". That would also explain why it did it when I turned everything off. it was the heater heating and cooling and expanding etc.... I took that heater out and put an EBO in it's place. I haven't heard the sound since.
What a relief.
And Now I know my Insurance covers $50000 if something does go wrong.
