Day 6 cloudy 75ga freshwater tank with angels, established. No live plants. Did a clean, 50%turnover of water. Didn’t resolve. Tried clarifier. Tested water; nitrogen high, 6.2 acidity level. Did 20ga water exchange with Ph leveler.
Water remains cloudy. Green appearance.
Yrs ago had similar experience and had to turn off/eliminate all light into tank for a month...algae?
Looking for suggestions plz

Couple of questions so I can try and help:

Have you done a full water parameter test with ammonia, nitrates and nitrites? What is your usual water change schedule? How long are your lights on for?

Day 6 but you said established? I’m confused.

If it’s new or stressed it could be a bacterial bloom. Leave it.

If it’s too much light and nutrients, water change, reduce lights, and uv sterile.
