Cloudy water

Helloo, I have a planted 20 gallon that has been doing great for about 4 months but in the span of 3 days the water has suddenly become really cloudy. I did my scheduled water change today and the water is still very cloudy. Does anyone know a possible cause for this and maybe solutions. Thank you all!

Have you been uprooting plants and moving/removing them?

No I haven’t moved my plants but they have started to accumulate algae on the leaves.

Have you washed your filter sponge out in tap water?

And what fertilisers have you been using?
