Cloudy water during a silent cycle??

Does this make any sense at all? Tank also has black flourite sand. Been running for a week, so I'd assume the cloudiness from that would be gone already. Running fiber floss, carbon, and uv sterilizer. 50% water change every other day. Still cloudy!

Well if your uv lite is working it isn't a bacterial bloom. What kind of filter do you have? Whats your parameters like?
Silent cycle? Meaning the cycle stalled?
