clown loach in 20 gal

could i put a clown loach like a baby in my 20 gal for like a month just to get rid of the snails in my tank

Not much point, they'll never get all the eggs.. Snails will be in your filters.. Under your gravel.. Ther will be snails everywhere.. I tried getting fish to eat mine but it wasn't working .. Just had to take everything out and get rid of anything that culd have eggs on it.. Then washed it down with hot water ,. It's a pain

i squashed as many of the eggs as i could the ramshorns are the biggest problem i want the loach just to eat the big ones mainly
