Hello,
I thought my black moor had ich and I have been treating that for about 4 days. No improvement, it looks like she has gotten worse. All her fins are covered in white spots and there are a few spots scattered over her body and around her eyes. She looks like she has a film over her. Kindov like dust I guess. For the ich I put aquarium salt in the water, added some medicine and raised the temp to 85. She still has her appetite but I just don't know what to do!

For ich, you must raise the temperature above 86...that means at least 87 degrees. I usually raise to 88, just to be sure.

Below that, you are just speeding up the life cycle of the parasite and stressing the fish.

Make sure you keep the temp up for a good couple of weeks after you see the last spot.

I also add a bubble stone to make sure the water stays well oxygenated.

Good luck. I hope your fishes pull through.
