hey i went ahead and put the clutch in a cup with a lid did the styrofoam thing and towels. but i was wondering since the water is being used just to keep them moist, can i put the clutch on a raft in the cycling tank? thats the only one with nothing in it that would tip it over, there is a good 1.5"clearance, i have the heat on in the tank right now to, wanna see if it helps with the cycling, and i think that would help speed up the hatching as well. i fig the tank will be a couple of wks and the clutch should be a couple as well. would it be ok? here is some pics of what i did and what i am proposing to do.....

i was gunna say, those didn't look like brig eggs to me.. and most of my brigs hatched in 10 days-15 max, so a few weeks, you'd be adding fresh babies to an uncycled tank, not a good idea. I'll let a cana owner /breeder answer this question though, I truly do not know. I'll try to copy and post your question to a friend of mine who does raise canas (for many many many years) She should know if no one else can answer.
Well the pictures didn't come over, so I posted a link to this thread to her. See if she can answer you. Hey, at least I tried to help...
