Color Changing Comet

Hello,

I have 3 Comets. Two of them have always been bright Orange and white .Well one was gold and had a black line on the top of his head. Now all of the blue the gold and black one have changed to Orange and white . What is up with this .

Comets will change color with changes in age, nutrition, or sunlight. In my experience, they start off darker and become brighter with age.

Dark color in goldfish almost never stay ... My black moor is now almost totally gold/red. (And he is only 9 months old .... moors usu. keep their black color for years they gradually turn brown.)

Black is generally a juvenile color, & the gold will show through as it grows. In show fish, blacks in an adult is prized (& will fetch a high price).
