Hey i have a question about cork, the wood for terrariums and aquariums. How long would a piece of cork float for, i have looked over the internet and have found no answers to this question. Please help me i am using this wood as a home for my upside down catfish.

attach it to a piece of rock with acrylic. That should hold it down nicely. Either that or your could drill it and use an acrylic rod.

no i want it to float, i just want to know how long it will float for. I am using it for my upside down catfish to hide in.

I would think for ever but I cant say 100%. They use to use cork as bobbers in the old days.

Since we were talking of wine before, it would be cool to do something with wine corks. I wonder if the corks with wine residue would do anything to hurt the fish?
