Cory losing color? Helpppp

So today is like any other day in the aquarium exept over the last couple of days I have noticed my emerald green Cory losing his dark green color. He is with 2 albinos and a julii and they all school. I am pretty sure him and the albinos are mating today but anyway he is now a pale brownish green. He is still active and bubbley and possibly mating? I have had another one with him but the other lost all his fins and color and died. The other were fine though and have been for the past 4-5 months

if you see any of these signs that were in experience a lead-up to death, check out symptoms on google. identify the disease and treat it. fish normally colour up when mating... im not saying for sure at all but this may be an unfortunate repeat.

emerald cories (brochis splendens) are a different genus and species than albino and julii so they probably weren't breeding.
