Corycat wedged between rock and glass found dead ?

I just got him yesterday from a reputable LFS. Parameters are fine, other fish are fine. He had no marks or anything on him, as if he had just died. He was acting normal all day, I kind of had to struggle to get him out. One thing I did notice was his gills were blue. I put him in a separate cup of tank water just incase he's still alive. Opinion ?

We need more details to give you a better idea. Tank size, water parameters, who else lives in the tank?
