A few corys were given to me as a gift. Anyone familiar with them would be as so kind to identify them so i can fill out the school.

I agree they r Cory jullii I have two and a few peppered and panda corys as well

I'm hearing they're a wee bit rare are corys generally willing to shoal with other same-sized species? That is if the LFS doesn't carry them. I have three atm.

Kind of, cories don't really school, they just hang out together and occasionally play together. Cross species playing isn't guaranteed as they tend to prefer their own species company but they will take assurance from being in a group with other species.

They are julli not trilined the markings are slightly different. I have a mix of corys and they tend to get on well.

i think three is the minimum recommended amount for groups of corys, correct me if im wrong, i hear some say 6 tho, either way, adorable little fish!
