Could this stand the weight?

I am going to purchase a 24 litre tank and was wondering whether this could stand the weight?

I am not sure. Have you tried stacking something heavy on it so see if it bends? At a glance, it doesn't seem like the best place for a tank, but it is hard to say. What kind of reinforcement is underneath it?

Set it on the stacking drawers, not the unsupported boards.

That's about 6.5 US gallons.

Yes it should easily hold. 24 liters is about 6 gallons or about 50-60 lbs with water, tank, substrate and decor. Set it over the drawers for that extra support.

I have a 21 ltr tank and it sits on the tv stand with a space below for dvd player cannot see any warping of the surface, should be fine.

Thanks for all the help there is a 19 litre so I might choose this and go safer?
