Crawfish with ropefish

Can I keep a ropefish with a crawfish? My crawfish is pretty peaceful, he's never killed a fish, only eaten dead ones. My ropefish went right over him and in front of him and he didn't try to catch the ropefish. Should I still be worried? I can move my crawfish to my 20 if there's a chance he will kill my ropefish.

With crayfish there's always a chance. If the cray thinks it can kill it'll try, at least that's been my experience. It may work for a while, but don't be surprised if it doesn't!!

There might be competition for food since both species are carnivorous but there shouldn't be too much aggression.

He should be fine in a twenty! Plenty of space for a crayfish!

Ropefish eat crayfish, saw one torn apart and eaten in pieces at an lfs once.
