Crossbread Betta???

Ok so tell me if this sounds weird or not but I think my betta is.a cross breed between a long fin and a crown tail. I bought him as a rescue cup betta from walmart with the hope i could give home a better life. When I got him he was still kinda small but has grown alot since then and I noticed his fins doing some funny stuff, his dorsal fin is starting to look like that of a crown tail but all the rest of the fins look like that of a long finned betta. Is it possible to get a Crossbread between the two of them?

They are all the same species. It is not cross breeding at all.

While it's not crossbreeding per se yes, it is possible to have viable fry from a crowntail/veiltail mating.

Ok i understand it's not technically cross breeding but you guys got the point.

I will have to get some pics of him in the morning if he will let me he is kinda camera shy lol
