Crystal Shrimp

CRS sell for $4 to $$$ depending on markings and bloodline.

Ghost/Glass/Grass shrimp are common and easy to keep. Depending on exact species they can be hard to breed. Some are predatory and may kill tiny fish fry or other dwarf Shrimp.

CRS are not usually a good beginner Shrimp. More selective on parameters and sensitive.

RCS (Red Cherry Shrimp) are pretty easy and might be a good next step...just not with the Ghosts.
 
Males of most shrimp are clear-ER that the females. For example, I have red cherry shrimp where the females are a beautiful dark red while the males are grey. If you can find red crystal shrimp, go for it! Here in Atlanta they are very hard to find and where you can find them they sell for $8 each. It is a good investment in my eyes.
