Boil it for a few Seconds to make it softer. Half cooked.

Wrap it in a damp paper towel and microwave it for 15-30 seconds.

I tried the cucumber idea and only my barbs liked it. I boiled it for almost 5 minutes to soften it. Does it take some getting used to for the fish or do they not like it?

It depends really on what type of fish you have and what they're dietary needs are.

3 angels two barbs and a pink gourami and 4 Amano shrimp. The barbs will be out soon though. Cleaning and getting ready for some yoyos and what not.

I've got corys, neons, gourami, guppies, platys,mollies none are eating

The mollies will eat it once they figure it out it is food. The rest are mostly carnivores.
