What can I use too hold it down ? Tryed a corn Cobb holder but was afraid that the plastic mite not be tank ok try stones in my tank but it get knocked off fast and was think wire or maybe a coin or a screw any help plz
 
+1 to the fork, I use a long handled fondu fork so I don't get my hand wet when feeding the snails. haha. Just drop it in the tank, and remove it when done.
 
I keep my romaine down and in one spot with seaweed clips. I feed blanched zucchini as well, sinks when it´s thawed and my pleco is all over it.

Use a stainless spoon instead maybe. Put the slice of cucumber through the opposite side of the spoon. Fork has pointy edges.
