Is this a good idea? My roommate has two and they refuse to get along so I was considering putting his golden gournami in my tank but I have two mollies. Is this a bad idea?

No. The gold gournami is a three spotted. Or at least that's what I've gathered online. Is that not the case?

Oh okay. From my knowledge they are two different types of gouramis. But with those fish it should be fine, provided you have some good filtration.
