Dark female GBR

I have realized that my female GBR has become very dark lately.. anyone else ever have this experience? She is happy as anything swimming, eating, and interacting with her mate. She also always greets me when I'm at the tank

I dont see any reason to worry. She looks like most female gbr's.

They can change colors as they please or ANY parameter may cause.
She looks to a little red in the belly and possibly getting ready to lay eggs soon?

Why does my GBR look so much more blue and have the long dorsal?

It is very different from the ones i see one here...

Looks like you have a long finned variant. Slightly modified strain..
