My tap water has a Ph of 7.0.. After using my dechlorinator (Stress Coat+) I have a Ph reading of 7.4.. Sound right?? My tank is sitting at 7.4 as well.. Thanks!

Think you will find your tap water is 7.4 also.

Take some tap water and let it stand for 24 hours. It will then degas any C02 which is making it a PH of 7.0. This will raise the PH back to 7.4

Or your PH could be 7.0 but you have something in your tank raising the PH like the substrate etc

I very much doubt its stress coat... I use it and have never seen PH rise from it.
