Denison Barbs vs BBA

It's a miracle ! I'd had an outbreak of BBA on my branches in my tank. And just now I saw my 4 Denison's circling and biting at it. They dislodged a chunk and one swam up and swallowed it !!!

They cleared a nice section. I'd never heard that they'd eat BBA. I wouldn't have believed it, if I hadn't seen it myself.

FYI I started injected CO2 today, cleaned one of the filters which greatly increased the flow and plan a large WC tomorrow.

I took a vid of it. I'll see if it's useable.

Sorry for the vid quality, but they are clearly picking at it. They cleared most of the branch before I started filming.

The vid is awesome. Yep they are hitting it. These fish are going to be so popular. Lol

I love how your pearl had to come up front because you must be there to take pics of him.

That's very cool. And I think your video came out really good. What exactly is BBA?

Black beard algae. Very much unwanted in a tank.

I LOVE my densions! Super hard and amazing fish. I have had my 3 for about 5 years now and they are still the center of the tank

I was only going to buy 3. But the last one left was an ugly baby. No color yet. So I bought him and he grew up and he's just as pretty as the rest.

55g is a bit tight for them, but they are doing well.
