DG nest?

Ok so I know DG make bubble nests but this doesn't look like a bubble nest to me and my DG works on it all the time I'm just wondering if it really is a nest or something else?

He's in a heavily planted 10 gallon and swims around and pecks at the plants and then goes to the top gets some air and spits into the nest. As you can see he's also taken some roots. He is very defensive chasing off anything that gets close to it including me haha

If plants are available they will build the nest there, they help hold the nest together and camouflage it.

I have one question I'm moving him to a 29 gallon tank think I could move the nest to?
