Did anyone else do anything stupid for the holidays?

I just got back in town and went directly to my baby discus tank. To my surprise none of the equipment was on! Some of them didnt seem that bad but I am almost sure the smallest will not make it. There was no water movement, no heater no nothing just water and fish for 3 days. The temp of the water is 65.9 degrees, far from the 82-85 it should be.
So this is the result of a quick water change before I left and hurried out the door.->Lesson learned, dont rush doing your maintenance.

I feel like the stupidest fish keeper alive right now.

Anyone else have this ever happen?

Yeah I had a post on here just the other day cause i did a water change and no neutralizer for approx 20 hours. Hey things happen, plus it's the silly season hey!

I got so drunk Friday night that I almost poored Newcastle beer into my fish tank thinking the fishies might like to join the fun.

Accidents and malfunctions happen.. and they always seem to happen when we are out of town =oP
