did i get a female flame dwarf gourami???

I had female dwarf gouramis before and they were always very pale grey in color... I bought a flame dwarf gourami at the fish store the other day and when i get home and look at it... the dorsal fin is clearly rounded!!! However it is BRIGHT Red with BRIGHT blue on the dorsal fin. Are they breeding colorful females now???

how can u tell females from males i have two and have no idea what they are?

Males have a ponted dorsal and females have a rounded dorsal. I used to have a male flame dwarf gourami and 2 female dwarf gouramis... but the females were grey in color. This one is a flame but his/her dorsal is rounded like a female.

I have some very colorful female gouramis, I was suprised too.But they are clearly female. I say bonus! LOL.
