Dimensions of an 80 gallon???

I am gonna order an 80 gall I was wondering if there is a standard size or many different? What is a common size?

from my little experience, usually 4ft.

i have a 79gal, its 4ft long (120cm) but a bit taller and wider than a usual 4ft'er

ok so i got an email from the fella iam buying the tank from and i asked him for measurements this is what i got 96" long 16" wide by 20" deep and he had it listed as an 80 gallon boy was he wrong that works out to be a little over 130 gallons for 250$ I GOT A DEAL!!!!!!

Does it come with a lot of stuff? I would have reached through the screen and smacked you if you'd paid $250 for a used 80g!

Lol 250 is a good deal for a used 80 here in nova scotia over 600 here for a new one with a canopy all this one comes with is the filter and canopy but it's in mint condition no scratches

unfortunately it depends on the area you live as to the deal being good or bad.

i could have got a 2nd hand "aquagrande 120" (285L / 79gal) for less than half what i paid for my new one, but they were all ~1500km (~900mi.) away.
all the 2nd hand stuff that was local was darn expensive or the cheap ones really crude setups.

96" long, by my calc's, = 8 foot / 243cm ??

1W per litre / 4w per gal is the general rule of thumb from my understanding.
(i use a 300w in a 285L / 79g tank)
