Hello all, I'm starting a dirted tank with my 29 gallon tank. I was wondering if one 20lb bag would be sufficient enough to be able to do a planted tank. Second I was wondering what kind of fish I could do in a 29 I was leaning more towards a community/semi-aggressive tank. I have a fluval eco bright 7500k light strip.

Dirting the tank is easy, you just have to use the right kind of soil and make sure you cap it good. The right kind of soil is top soil, I got a 30-40 lb bag at ACE for $2. Gravel cap is better than sand, although both work fine. Make sure that you cap the dirt before you fill up the tank. For fish, you could do an angelfish pair for semi aggressive.
