I was at the lfs here and they had a few more gray dwarf gouramis, and asked if they were female, as I was wanting a male and a female dwarf red gourami, but they said they were male blue ones, and that they aren't able to get females, as well as other specialty fish or snails. Might ask them if they can get females.

I recently bought a pair of dwarf gouramis, the male is nearly twice as big as the female, and is very colourful, whereas the female is plain grey.

with dwarfs i thinkyou can sex them by there doral fins males have pointed one and females have rounded ones....i'll go look it up to double check

There dorsal fins dont look different, but im pretty sure one is a female because she has a round tummy, I looked it up, and only the females have that.

They should both have the feelers. Generally, the only way a gourami wouldn't have them is if it had been nipped at.
