I'm hoping to either sell or give my lfs the baby crayfish that I have (their parents came from this store). I'm also wondering if its common for lfs to take back an adult crayfish more than 6 months after I bought it. Does that seem unlikely? I'd kinda like to get rid of my adult male crayfish now that he's killed his mate and the possibility of having more babies is gone. He's the "stay in the flower pot until nightime" kind of crayfish so I feel like I'm wasting electricity on having a 10 gallon tank with just one cranky crayfish in it.

Many LFS will take unwanted fish but the policies vary greatly from store to store. Some won't take anything back, others will give you store credit, and others will pay you (though usually less than store credit).
