Do shrimp and snails need to be QT'd?

Do shrimp and snails carry fish diseases? I am wanting to know if I need to quarantine new snails and shrimp. Thanks!

Inverts cannot transfer diseases to fish and vice versa, you should be fine.

True. The protozoans that cause diseases require a fish host. Plus using any medications on inverts would be fatal.
