Do you nee to boil driftwood fron LFS?

Depends. My LFS does all that before they put it out for sale but when I drop it in it still leaches tannins into the tank (brown coloring from the wood). Not harmful but not attractive in my opinion. It's probably best to soak it in a bucket for a while and add it once you don't see any discoloration in the water.
 
If they have the driftwood already in a tank, just scrub it real good with hot water. But if it's dry and on a shelf, personally, I'd boil it.
 
I'd definitely boil it. You have no idea what diseases could be hitchhiking on it from the store from the fish there.
