Vacuuming Tank Gravel

Good morning Oscar...

If you have a planted tank you don't need to vaccuming the gravel. The plants will use the nutrients. You still need to do large and frequent water changes.

I just vacuum the gravel where there are no plants and or roots. The more plants you add ... essentially the less you'd have to gravel.

Ok just wanted to know if it was bad. I still do frequent water changes though. All my tank have bottom dwellers so the top layer of gravel is mostly clean.
