Receving my Malaysian driftwood I orded line today how should I prepare it for my tank?

Soak it a lot. Mine took about two weeks for a smallish piece. Boil it if you can to speed it up. I boiled water and put it in a bucket to soak and replaced the water once every one to two days depending on the water color. Cool/cold water didn't seem to cause the tannins to come out anywhere near as fast as hot/boiling water
