Bad idea? Ok?

I have three female Bettas in a 20g (they are getting along at the moment)-- I'm thinking adding a dwarf gourami would not be a good plan.

IMO, no. I would not suggest mixing labrythn breathers at all. I do know that it sometimes works, but if you have peace right now, I wouldn't push it.

I agree. If you have peace at the moment I wouldn't disrupt it. If it was one female Betta you could give it a shot but since there's three I wouldn't risk it.

Hmm... So one female might be an option? I have decided to give up my dream of a female Betta sorority tank for now and have separated everyone. Sigh.

Lol, it's good to have confirmation!

My neighbor is giving me a 33 gallon tank, so stay tuned for THAT stocking thread, beginning with a dwarf gourami. Or do I want a cichlid tank? ... (wandering away muttering to myself)...
