Dwarf gourami question

I have a male powder blue in my 30 gallon - he's the boss of the tank. I got another powder blue for my 20 gallon hoping that I found a female to put with my other gourami. Does it look like a female? She's still about half the size of my male so I don't know if he/she is fully developed. If I put them together, do you think my male would be aggressive towards her? First pic is my male. Second is the female...maybe

The dorsal fin on the males is pointed while the females is rounded.

Females are also less colorful. The male shouldn't bully her.
