Hi, I'm new to the forum and new to the aquarium hobby.

I had a question about my dwarf Pleco I purchased about a 8 months ago. I've been trying to figure out exactly what type of Pleco it is. The store (which was a Petco as there weren't any other reputable LFS around at the time) identified it as "dwarf common Pleco" but I know that can mean practically anything for Plecos lol.

I'm trying to figure out how big it will end up being...it doesn't seem to have grown much since I purchased, but I'm debating whether the 20g tank I have is going to be suitable for it in the future.

Again, I'm new to everything about fish, so any advice is appreciated. :thanks:

It's a female bristle nose. They can hit 6" but 5" is average. Looks healthy, nice work!

Thank you for responding! :) now I know my Pleco is a "she" and not a "he" haha.

I'm glad to know she looks healthy too! I stress out whenever anything looks off, and I was extremely stressed out when we moved the aquarium from one house to another.
