Dwarf puffer advice

Okay, in my side job as a fish rescuer, acquired what seems to be a very skinny dwarf puffer.

Very active, but appears thin compared to photos I've seen posted around the net. Color also seems poor but it attacks pond snails with gusto.

I have two very specific questions I can't seem to find answers for.

I grow pond snails for my loaches, so that will be her primary diet.

How many say, medium-sized snails should I feed daily?

Are they known "jumpers?"

I prefer to keep my tanks lidless if possible.

Thanks in advance for any experienced advice!

This puff may have internal parasites since she is skinny. Try using prazipro. Feed until tummy is slightly rounded. If feeding snails, take the shell out once feeding is complete.

Better to keep a lid.

Is this a personal preference or are they known jumpers?

Whenever I get rescue fish I automatically treat for parisites. I have no history on this little guy at all.

I've heard about puffers jumping, especially active ones like a DP. There are FW lurker puffers out there that probably won't jump.
