Hey everyone! I have been growing dwl in my 10 for its entire life so far and it has done wonders at decreasing nutrient levels, but recently it has really exploded, and I mean really. I have to remove some every other day as they overcrowd each other. And just as I was doing my last water change I noticed that not one but every single plant was turning purple! Anyone know anything about this? And the roots look to be reaching farther down (way more green too)ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1421711767.714028.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1421711816.984693.jpg and the old ones are melting.

My guess is a nutrient and/or light deficiency. They are very pale green rather than more definite green color. By the way, there really is not such a thing as 'dwarf' water lettuce- if you placed these in a pond environment with natural sunlight, they grow to dinner plate size (or larger). :)
