Finally getting ready to start rescaping my 37 gallon. I have driftwood soaking and purchased plants on the way. I currently still have my stock T8 lighting running on a timer for 12 hours/day but know that once my plants arrive and I start using the new T5HO lighting that I bought, I'll have to cut back on how many hours I run lights. I work from home so I am here all day and am reluctant to give up my 12 hours of light running time. I would really like to have some sort of moon lighting in the tank, so I was thinking of looking into LED lighting of some sort to run for a couple hours a day if I can do it cheaply enough. Suggestions?

+1 You don't need very powerful LEDs for moonlights, so you can find them from a lot of sources.

They also sell some little carpet led adjustable bars at the hardware store (home depot). They only cost about $12 and are also water proof. These come with 6 led lights.
