If you want the back story to this, go search 'what a way to wake up in the morning'. So I took the opportunity to switch my gravel for sand. My decor was in a dry rubbermaid for at least 3 hours. I put it back in the tank and out came my striped peacock eel!! He is kind of sluggish but alive. I really hope he survives in the long run.

Oh no!!! Feed him! Im happy he is alive though! :)

I fed him, I'm not sure he's going to survive in the long run though. He does like the sand over the gravel.

After my tank cycles, I really want to get another eel. But I also want Cory cats, ghost shrimp or black kluli loaches. So since these are all bottom dwellers, I need to go with one or two at most. My substrait is sand. Any suggestions, favorites?
