Yeah, I wish I've kept a few different types, not your level though, but sadly no spawns.

I wouldn't actually be surprised if your kuhlis spawned though! It's been known to happen in captivity, moreso than the botiid loaches.

Just saw an assassin snail laying an egg for the first time. Totally weird looking.

That's my hope. They've laid a bunch of eggs but I've never seen little ones, I relocated them to the 5g and now they're laying like crazy so we shall see!

So got a call today from the LFS that they got in fish I had ordered...in August. I was naughty. Picked up six more zebra loaches...but walked away from more tiger loaches, cory cats, calvus, and Julies. Glad to have an appropriate size group finally!

It actually appears there have been three spawns from what I can tell. 3/4" fry, tiny fry, and wiggling egg sacs. Can't believe I didn't notice. I out 2 shelldweller babies in to see how they would do and in my hunt for them found these little guys tucked back in a tiny crack. No way I can get them out but they seem to be doing ok, not a lot of fry but tons of eggs!

Got a better fry pic...and failed at trying to get a good one of the cryptoheros, had to use the flash cause of the tannins but I hate doing that to the fish

That tiny fish with the bright blue trim on the dorsal fin is AWESOME! Your photo skills keep me coming back to this thread.
I guess that is an okay excuse to skip a water change. Works for me.

But here's the real question: Yankees, Red Sox or Mets?

Psssh Mets of course.

Anyway my lone panda cory died. Fine yesterday, not today. I've had him for a few years and he survived numerous tank moves, crashes, Etc. The only panda I managed to raise from barely sellable size. They've always been tough for me. All the other fish are fine, including much smaller cories, but I think the cutteri are prepping to breed again.
I moved the aspidoras from from the grow out into the main tank as well.
I'm having massive cherry shrimp explosions.
