Eheim 2217 vs API Filstar XP L
Looking to get another canister filter since I have 2 large tanks now and only 3 filters between them. I'm currently running the new 100g with an Eheim 2213 and a 2217. That leaves another 2213 for the 75 gallon, which is obviously not enough, especially with goldfish.
I was reading up on the Filstar and it looks like the equivalent size filter had almost 100gph turnover more than the Eheim, which I'm kinda digging for a goldfish tank. I've used the Eheims for years, but I'm willing to try another. Anyone have any experience with the API? Durability, effectiveness, truth in advertising?
