Electric Blue Acara

Hi everyone. I don't need any fish at all, but from time to time see the most beautiful EBA's (in fact was just reminded of them in another post about EBR's).

I know I can just look them up and find their stats, but what are your personal experiences with them? How many do you keep at a time, is there aggression, what type of fish make good tank mates? Do they have average life spans (I ask because I feel that Electric Blue Jack Dempsey's have shortened life spans when compared to regular ones). What are their behaviors? Oh, and how big have yours gotten?

Mine have been pretty peaceful so far. I've only had them about a year so I can't comment on lifespan. Biggest is about 5 inches.

I didn't know they grew to be 5 inches. How many do you keep in a tank. Do you have tank mates?
