Question Expired API test?!?!?!

I think I remember reading this question on here before but didnt pay attention.
How do I tell if my API test kit is expired? Is the last two digits in the number on some of the bottles the year it expires? In that case, my test expired last year and I bought it this year.
Im taking a water sample over to my LFS so they can test it and see where my numbers are.

Each one should have a lot number and the last four digits are the month and year of production. Ammonia and nitrate and good for three years and nitrite is good for four years, and PH is good for five years. I've tested kits that were a few years expired and had the same results with new kits so take that for what it's worth.

If you purchased them last year they should be good unless the kit sat around for years which is unlikely, what are the lot numbers?
