External filter

I'm looking to buy an external filter for my 64l (17gal) tank as I'm not happy with how much space the internal one takes up in the tank. I researched all the external filters under £70 and narrowed the results down to these two:

Fluval 106
TetraTec EX600

Preferences? Opinions? Advice?
Thank you!

Do you have AquaClear filters available to you? That would be my choice.

Out of those two definitely the 106.

I like the idea of the hanging filters but unfortunately I have a tank with a lid and no hole in it to fit a filter.

Generally just a good filterIMO. I don't know anyone who doesn't like them.

I have 9 fluval canister filters and I love them they have lots of storage and they can use a number of different media types unlike tetra junk lol
