Fasting for Bettas

I have read that you should withhold food for one day a week for bettas. What is your opinion?

That advice has been given many times. Not specifically for bettas but for all fish. No harm in doing so IMO.

How much do you feed your betta each time . I found very small betta pellets and mine is young so I feed her 3 of those small pellets twice a day. I don't want to over feed and have her bloat that is what my first one died of just trying yo be careful.

I forget to feed my fish on a regular basis, it doesn't hurt them. I've also gone on vacation for a week and all my fish were fine
