i got a small feeder fish from a friend, last of its kind that the feedee(???) fish died, does any one know about how large an average feeder fish can get if not fed on

when i got him he was about the size as my neon tetra and now he is almost 2 and a half inches in length. how long before i can up grade him into my roommate's father's koi pond???

If it was a feeder goldfish it will get as big as goldfish get. If it was a little pink think, often called a rosy red, it will go from 1/2" to 3.5" inches or so.
He should be able to go in the pond as soon as he is too big for the mouths of what is in the pond.

What is in the pond?

I got some for my channel cats to eat in my pond near the begining of the summer. They some ignored and are at least 3" now at the end of the summer. I put in 3 doz and there are only 1.5 doz left.
