Feeding & water changes

I am going out of town for 11 days. Is it ok to leave my tanks alone without feeding and water changes? I have South American cichlids. What do you think? Thanks

Technically you could leave the tank without food for 11 days but IMO a better option would be to get an automatic feeder and use it. Just be sure if you do that to run the auto feeder at least a week before you leave to be sure it's working properly.

Then if you do a 50% WC right before you leave and do one as soon as you get back the tank will be fine.
